About half my backyard is that seed. It's not terrible but can't be mowed as short as bermuda sod.Anyone know if that bermuda seed (at lowes) looks similar to the bermuda sod they lay down in neighborhoods? Or is it more crab grass looking?

Yea I just have a small area on side of house where we moved plants out of (dirt now). Was going to put sod down but it's such a pain especially with the roots in the ground. If it looks close enough i think ill just seed itAbout half my backyard is that seed. It's not terrible but can't be mowed as short as bermuda sod.

It’s fine to do now. It will have time to establish before the soil gets cool.Id go with it. Just have to keep it super wet until it germinates. Honestly it may be too late ib the year to seed it now
Needs 90 days from germination date to frost is my understanding I could be wrongIt’s fine to do now. It will have time to establish before the soil gets cool.

Yeah going from Harrison to Jordan was a hike. At least I lived in Bragaw a couple of years, so that was closer to Jordan. There was no AC in dorms back then, but at least they made Bragaw coed my second year there.Pams nerd. That walk from Jordan Hall to any other part of campus was miserable. You're in that thread rn.be cool if we had a thread where we could wishcast or report fake weather. Like a wishcasting thread
Isn't that what the winter thread is for?be cool if we had a thread where we could wishcast or report fake weather. Like a wishcasting thread
You could give it a shot, the heat over the next 10 days will be ideal for germination. If you water the crap out of it until frost to entice the roots to get as deep as possible and hit it with a starter fertilizer you might be able to make it through winter. The only concerns are not enough time for the roots to store enough energy to survive winter and/or a cold snap freezing a shallow root zone (many people realized how easy this is a couple years ago).Hm ok maybe ill wait until spring. I was hoping the grass would spread into the area this summer but it's not really happening
