Nice hike at Goose Creek State Park , almost done visiting every single state park under 2 hours form my house . Goose creek is an hour and a half .

Hiked through the swamps with all the cypress , Spanish moss , and palmetto . Then hike between large live oaks that dotted the shoreline of what is the pamlico river as it becomes the pamlico sound . Dope place not far from @Shaggy .

I meditated standing knee deep in the river water as the sun set .

We go there quite a bit. Even thought about renting one of the cabins. My hunt club is down that way as well. We also really liked Carolina beach state park.

So did you hang out on this tree on the beach and did you notice the wind damege streak coming off the water?

I know a lot get happy with Canadian blocking, as it generally leaves us cooler. Id rather see it in Greenland and near Alaska, as that shunts mild pacific air and gets us a flow more out of Canada. We have got to get that Saskatchewan air (Baker Lake, Yellowknife) type air.
