Chattanooga has some beautiful scenery but I noticed a lot of really rough looking areas. The income gap in Chatt seems really big

I'll toot Chattanooga's horn for medium sized city. If you like outdoor stuff, mountains, hiking, it's perfect. Jobs might be a problem, but the economy is fairly decent, and the rents low. Crime is bad but only in fairly restricted areas.

Chattanooga has come a long way since I was a kid. They really cleaned up downtown in the 90s from when I was a kid. I love taking the family up there now since it’s easier to get there than to take them to Atlanta.

Plus we have a world class utility company running our city.. EPB Fiber Optics. They are amazing.

No, but if it’s anything like other college towns I bet it’s definitely nice and different from it’s surroundings . Chapel hill and it’s weirdness aside is a really nice town with so much to do .

If you want weird, go to Asheville. That place is like Austin, TX weird.

I am loving @BufordWX ‘s storm. @Tarheel1 ‘s snow just seems like it should happen, but for Buford i almost relate to it more since he’s not seeing any flakes! The transition aspect of a winter storm has been present in all but a couple of the storms I’ve seen. Can’t wait for our first event.

Haven’t had a real snowstorm here since 1/17/18. I don’t count 2 inches of sleet from 12/10/18.

Good point but there are plenty of palm trees also in S GA and SE SC. So, having plenty of palms doesn’t tell me whether I’m in FL vs parts of GA and SC.
