Actually probably more of a result of underestimating the warm nose that always screws us, which I guess can be tied to underestimated ridging.... not real sure why that layer of warmth is always there and mucking up things.

Raleigh's Thoughts....

Given the TC interaction with strong baroclinic forcing, the
precipitation distribution will be focused to the left of track of
the low center, resulting in the most significant precip north of
NC. Still expect 1.5 to perhaps 2 inches of rain from late Wednesday
into Friday near the VA border with amounts decreasing to the
southeast including around 1.6 inches in the Triad, 1.25 inches in
the Triangle and around 0.5 inches in the Fayetteville area.

The Gulf of Mexico.

Out of all the big cities in the south, Nashville is by far my favorite. No other city compares IMO. The only thing I don't like about Nashville is the traffic and how expensive it is.

Check out Hogtown. A great medium sized city for walking with many nice parks. Has some really good restaurants. Good alternate routes to avoid bad traffic. Not expensive. Excellent access to I-75. Great/massive hospital (Shands). Pleasant climate outside of summer. Great radiation. It even has some nice hills.

You really miss @pcbjr . It’s ok I do too :(. If I had to do Florida though maybe St. Augustine would be nice . Rest of Florida is a sprawling environmental disaster on meth .

I'll toot Chattanooga's horn for medium sized city. If you like outdoor stuff, mountains, hiking, it's perfect. Jobs might be a problem, but the economy is fairly decent, and the rents low. Crime is bad but only in fairly restricted areas.

Have you ever been to Hogtown? You wouldn't know you were in FL.
No, but if it’s anything like other college towns I bet it’s definitely nice and different from it’s surroundings . Chapel hill and it’s weirdness aside is a really nice town with so much to do .

It is beyond me why Chattanooga is not growing at a breakneck speed like Nashville and Atlanta ! It is literally the biggest hidden gem there is ! Definitely one of my favorite cities .

We have slow steady growth, just not exponential. I'm fine with that. Traffic is becoming a bit of a problem with increasingly outdated infrastructure.

Daytona wasn’t that bad! Stayed there a week a few years back

Same with Dubuque! If somebody blindfolded you and took you here, you would not know you were in the Midwest! Jobs a plenty, tons of outdoor activities, I think it’s about 2.5 hours to Chicago, people are great and women are corn fed and beef fed!?

Chattanooga has some beautiful scenery but I noticed a lot of really rough looking areas. The income gap in Chatt seems really big
