This is a classic apps runner - low pressure tracks just west of the Appalachian mountains. This is typically how West and Middle Tennessee get there biggest snows.
You know it's bad when the ECMWF gives Las Vegas more snow than central NC

Gfs made me mad though it gives me this run a 67 degree day with clear clouds NE of me which means high bust potential for far lower . Last run was 72! This run even Greensboro gets to the 70s and I get 67 but realistically the Gfs has me stuck under clouds and maybe 60-62 .
