Absolute beauty for our areas! Don’t think we have seen that much snow from a single storm since.

Yep, 6 plus inches of wet heavy snow with ice and sleet. One of the best I’ve experienced.
The only one that I feel like came close since was February 2014. Although that one had more ice and sleet, but we still had a few inches of snow.
That's the most snow I've seen here. Around 6". I was only 8. I'm 18 and it has not snowed above 5" since them imby.

Yea I was on the wrong side for that one unfortunately.
I still had a few inches from that one, but something about it just felt different to me. Doesn’t resonate as much with me.

I got a lot of 32 rain.
Just found a YouTube video from early morning. The guy doing the video said Tallapoosa county was just added to the WSW area with 1-3” area wide. That busted a little on the low side.
Heaviest snow I can remember in the after noon. We picked up 5-6” inches in two or three hours.
Every flake that fell during that storm stuck which was a rare and beautiful thing to see!
School systems around and north of Atlanta got bailed out in that 2017 storm. I believe some schools were still on for that day and then the heavy snow moved in mid morning. If we hadn’t switched back to rain for a few hours in the early afternoon that could have been a 2014 repeat.
That was January 2014 here. As crazy as the 9-10” of December 2017, it was no where near the mayhem of the Snowjam. Trying to get to my in-laws, sliding down the highway with moderate snow falling at 18 degrees in midday is something I won’t ever forget a moment of.

Boo, that storm was awful here. I want this one again!
(Though this one gave GA nothing...maybe we can have one of each, LOL)
The EPS is back to crap after the nice 00z snow increase on the mean. SER/Cutter look past day 10.
