It is going to be a long cold dry winter for you. Do you know what would be real funny? ...... if this was the year of the 1988 repeat and you missed it. Talk about Karma..... just saying.
I’ll see plenty of snow! I really wish y’all could pull off another ‘88! This board would crash so hard if that kind of event was imminent! I would love to track it with y’all!

Have you ever loved somebody way more than you love yourself?
And once your back's against the wall, it seem like nobody cares
You never notice what you got until it's off in the air
If I lose everything I got, tell me what used to be there

Chasing is a blast and something I’ll always do, but it sure would be nice to score in the home state here soon. I haven’t seen accumulating snow IMBY since the December 2017 storm. I’ll take just about anything at the homestead this winter!

Oh totally the last few years I've only seen snow in NYC Lake Tahoe and a snow chase up near the Oklahoma border in February hopefully will be in Colorado in mid January but it's still not the same

While everyone else chased snow today , I woke up early and drove down to Atlantic beach , got knee deep in the water because it was warmer than the air . Spent an hour out there then hiked around fort Macon state park, the hiked at the Croatoan national forest , then worked out with my buddy in havelock who can squat 900 pounds ! This trip was spontaneous , I wasn’t planning on the beach till I was half way to havelock . Reminds me of the day I got up to go to Lowe’s but then somehow wound up in Virginia Beach instead .

I had palms and water on my mind today! Whole different world down there than it is out in the mountains right now. I was staring at nice green coastal forests with nice oaks and palms .

The water temp was 64 while air temp at the time was 46 with a pounding wind making for a windchill in the 30s . The water felt good in comparison , I managed to stay in it for a good while .

900 Squat is elite level... used to powerlift, and my best was 585 at 190 pounds.

Currently six stations on this map showing 28 degrees, which is also the current temp in CHA: 1606887950236.png

There must be a big southern slider on an EPS member because it has nothing for most of the SE for the entire run but when it hits hr 288 most of the northern SE sees a sizable jump in the mean. First pic is hr 276 and second pic is hr 360.
