I actually can't do this if I don't get a buttload of money from NC State. They're the only met school who hasn't given me aid info
Shoot! Well how about studying some computer stuff then going off to grad school for meteorology or something? NCSU will give you a buttload of money, trust in the pack.

Sounds like it would be even more expensive than just taking the $43k/yr hit to go to VT

I was a met major originally, then I realized I wasn’t as good at the physics/chemistry part as I thought and I had meh grades, which is no good in a field with job prospects as tenuous as meteorology (plus, generally speaking, the pay is not very good). So I got out and switched to economics, something I am much more naturally gifted at, and the rest is history...it all worked out very well! Almost certainly better than if I’d have muddled through and stuck it out in meteorology.

You obviously want to do something you don’t hate for your career, but I’d argue it doesn’t have to be your first love, either. Pay attention to pay and job prospects, and student loans are no joke; I’d personally avoid them as much as you can.

NW flow supercells with golf ball sized hail, dews in the 70s, 5000 cape, 8C lapse rates, i can almost smell it
The only problem I have with NW flow is the hot dry air and the storms go strong through Winston and Greensboro, and fade out when they get here. Of course the benefit of the fading storms is ominous cloudcover as the shelf moves through and the strong cooler air breeze. Just wish theyd survive the trip past the Triad more often. Loved them when I was in Greensboro.

Create an Only Fans and just post pornographic snowfall maps and fantasy storms. This entire forum would subscribe.
Lol, when its all you get to see for an entire winter, and even then they are rare. Who wouldnt pay for a collage of snow weenie maps over the past 10 years? Theyd be posters on my office walls.

What did you end up doing with econ?

Me and my friends actually joked about it when we saw a major called “turfgrass” I don’t actually know what it is
How to grow and maintain grasses for golf courses, sporting venues, or as part of a landscaping company. Just read the description on the Clemson website sounds like they are heavy on the business side of it too which is pretty cool. State was more on the physics/chem side.

Personally I wouldn't worry about a major right now unless that's something that you have to do. Take your freshman year to take some intro classes to things you might be interested in then see what you like.
