I would be interested to see how many people would prefer an ice storm over a snowstorm. I'm pretty sure most would prefer a snowstorm, but i'm sure there are some out there who actually like ice better.

Depends, I’ll take a snow storm if it’s over 4in of wet heavy snow. Anything less give me 1in of ice and chaos.

March 2014 was fun in High Point, helped there was IP with it, too, so it kind of looked like a snowstorm afterwards. And even though we lost power for a few days, it warmed up in the 60s soon thereafter, so it wasn’t cold, haha. That one sort of snuck up on us, too. I don’t think we even got a Watch with it. It was straight to a Warning last minute.

I don’t know why people hate on people liking ice, but people who like deadly tornados, floods, hurricanes, etc. don’t get the same treatment (and let’s be honest, snow kills people and causes damage, too). The double standard is glaring!

I remember I had relatives flying down from the NE that day. I got to get off of school and go to the airport.

Exactly ! What’s wrong with wanting the worst possible solution for civilization and chaos! I want it dang it! I want to be cut off from Raleigh due to extreme flooding of the neuse and little rivers ! I want an ice storm to crush my soul! An EF5 tornado to toss me! A category 5 hurricane that pushes the sea 100 miles inland to me !
