Even then, it's not like the Charlotte area has done great neither in the last 7 years .Likewise with eastern North Carolina, unless you're talking about far NE North Carolina towards the VA border.
Eastern NC Greenville north had 100 year lows not long ago!

Well considering Houston(even south of there for that matter) is getting more Snow/Ice in one storm than what the many of the Carolina have received in the last 7 years combined, kinda disrespectful be calling someone greedy just for wanting to have a higher snow/ice average than freaking Houston TX of all places when everyone in the Carolinas(yes even including even coastal areas) have done way better than them historically.

Didn't a huge chunk of NC get a massive snow in January 2018? That wasn't very long ago.

Yes I know that Greenville and points north did well in the last 7 years, but there's more to Eastern North Carolina than NE North Carolina like the US-264 corridor/north areas .Areas like Fayetteville, Wilmington, Rockingham, Whiteville(who I don't think hasn't received a significant winter storm since 2014 just like Columbia),Lumberton, Myrtle Beach(though technically SC), etc have been getting the raw end of the deal with mother Nature in the last 7 years and now Houston may surpass all of these areas snow/ice totals of the last several years combined with just one system despite of having way worse climatology for snow/ice than all of them.

Yeah that may be true but it’s not like those places you mentioned have good climatology either . Not much different from CAE.

That looks like the December 2018 storm , but yes January 2018 . Eastern nc. 100 year lows!

Then why are people saying Houston is getting more snow than most of NC got in 7 years? Even in Charlotte where people are saying has gotten screwed lately got a double digit snowfall in December 2018 and a 7.6 inch snowfall in 2016. Hell, I haven't seen over 3 inches since 2014.

I think that’s December 2018, but I lived in Florida then, so no snow for me. I actually got a dusting of snow in FL in January 2018, first accumulating snowfall there in 23 years!! But I’m thirsty, I haven’t seen more than a couple inches of snow since Fab Feb 2015 and this winter was the biggest kick in the nuts of my weenie life!!

Welcome to the dark side , hence why I said miss / Alabama posters probably feel good lol. This entire forum is in the outside looking into NC half the time really .
