It will be fun to watch Jim Cantore reporting from the Sierra's in Cali starting tomorrow. Up to 6 feet of snow with 100 mph winds !

My reaction to the 18z GFS
The GFS is doing a good job ratcheting up expectations so that the eventual sloppy coating I get is going to be disappointing.

Anybody chasing any of this stuff? been eyeing some cabins in the mountains but with the weekend possibilities and uncertainty on tomorrow tough to pull the trigger.

I need to see those 3-5 inch totals on the NAM and EPS to get excited.

Yall remember that Dgex-esque clown map last week with 20+ depth across the state.......let's trend all the way back to that!!!!!

That will be the 00Z NAM tonight when it suddenly goes all in and dumps 12-24 over central and eastern NC....everyone goes nuts then remembers its the NAM doing NAM things and goes back to hoping for a few sloppy inches lol....
Going to have to start posting some of these models in the man cave
