Definitely expecting the HP to be weaker and the wedge to be narrower and for us to get mid 30s and rain with the King Kong storm, but it is certainly an intriguing look right now.
I'm going 60s along and east of 95 by verification we push 50-55 as the wedge breaks and storms move through

Don't worry, it'll happen. PV press will be weaker, stronger SE ridge, high placement too far west. Somehow we'll all bask in 34 and rain. Don't worry about the models. The rug pull will happen. ?☔?

MA crew got to be ticked at this south trend for this weekends snow.

@SD we overperformin on the high statewide rn! GFS had 47 for today , NAM 54 and HRRR 51. 56 with 60s popping up around RDU. Small victory !?

I'm issuing a Carpet Burn Watch. may upgrade to warning at 0z tonight/12z tommorow. Be the 3rd time in past week.
Carpet Burn is what happens when models have to go inside 5 days and pull the rug out on us. This TPV crap is wash rinse repeat. I been waiting on this one today and like clockwork it showed up right on cue. Didnt fool me this time lol. The tpv should disenegrate, move / wash out and we can get back to normalcy. Never seen a more horrendous job trying to forecast (model world) in my life the past almost 2 weeks now.

This is the most incredible thing I've ever seen. Remember when that wave over the NE was going to unleash record cold?

Not here...climo is a b as they say. mod/strong nina is a losing battle.

It's depressing. But after last week, completely expected. UKMET is the only one that seems to know what's really going to happen.
