Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

Didnt at any point buy winter hype, just model watched as my only guide. Somehow still very dissapointed at lack of winter storm development for the entire SE. Another month....

Glad I told my son it was going to snow again this winter. He should hate me the rest of the year now. Can’t say I blame him. He blames me. I blame JB. JB blames the Pioneer algorithm. Life goes on

After seeing the NAM I'm feeling pretty good about my hunch to stay put. My place to stay at in NW GA is trending to less and less. They'd have a dusting while just to the south would have 2".

look at that sounding, the atmosphere is preparing itself for spring, imagine having that sounding with higher dew points and temperatures, oof those would be some strong storms and also that dry air entrainment

If it happens to snow overnight best to stay up, otherwise when you wake up the only evidence of snow will be the wet pavement.
Stop it with all the negativity! You forgot about the flash freeze of the rain! That’s a win this winter!

Dad if the year!

Omfg really?! Like the changeover is less than 10 miles away yet again and precip ends before I even get a whiff of token flakes!:mad::mad:

Only flakes I'm gonna see this Tuesday are the frosted flakes I'm gonna eat for breakfast.
And the ones running around CLT!

I am pretty sure BOS has less than 2" since Dec 1st. So after Tuesday, RDU/CLT/ATL/BMX will have it beat. It's like putting lipstick on a pig but a win is a win.

With full sunshine, temps have to be pretty well below freezing for roads to remain a skating rink. You get full sunshine and temps in the 30s and the areas where the sun hits will melt fairly fast on roads that are well traveled.

This guy is clearly a genious about every dang topic. Man just chill out with jeez it is getting old quick. As someone already posted, you don’t even live in SE anymore yet have the answer (and most of the time a negative one) for everything

Brad p says nothing for clt lol, but look at nc, like trying to figure out where your summertime storm with hit with a good burst, I think it’s a little overdone 33AF21F7-F9E9-42CE-AAC9-0896B5FED3F5.png
