Regardless of the exact timing, it is clear that severe was not expected earlier. So, I think today pretty much falls in the Brick category of getting severe when not anticipated. Wasn’t this watch issued after there was already severe in nearby areas? Opinions?
 
After a big bust on the “ rainy” Mother’s Day weekend, now DPs in the 30s and 40s, no rain for 10+ days, goodbye soil moisture, hello drought! Winning at summer!

Yes, the watch was issued for counties east of Wake after severe storms already went through Wake and we had a tornado warning. Wake and the counties to the west were never under a watch. Just weird this decade it seems when Wake is under a severe thunderstorm or tornado watch, we hardly get any storms at all, and when we do get severe storms we are not under a watch.
 
My opinion is you go to Zaxby's for the chicken wings. For regular fried chicken, you go to Chick Fil A.

Outside of a chicken sandwich, I haven't had anything else that is fried chicken from Zaxby's in quite a while. I'm addicted to chicken wings though and if I didn't have good self control I'd be having that from Zaxby's and 1 other place more than once a week.

I like the grilled chicken with honey roasted BBQ sauce, lettuce, and tomato at Chic Fil A along with waffle fries. Yummy! I do miss the cole slaw though. :(

IF IT IS THE ONE I HAVE DEALT WITH AS A FIRST-RESPONDER THEN I HONESTLY AND TRULY FEEL FOR YOU, I HAVE SEEN IT PUT PPL IN THE HOSPITAL. LOTS OF FLUIDS , WATER AND GATORADE. MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE THE WATER FOR EVER OUNCE OF GATORADE, I.E. 20OZ OF GATORADE GETS 40OZ OF WATER. BELIEVE IT OR NOT YOU CAN GET TO MANY ELECTROLYTES AND TO MUCH POTASSIUM AND REALLY COMPLICATE THINGS
