I am; been my "hometown" for 40 years; before that South Bend for 7, but grew up in JAX until I was 18 ...

Athens is beautiful. Problem there is every time I drive through with an Alachua County tag, I get pulled and ticked for speeding, with an invite/dare from Officer Friendly to come back to Dawg Country County Court to challenge it ... so now I kindly reroute on the by-pass ...

Athens PD pulls everybody over. They suck. It’s not like the old days when they would tell you to stop being dumb and drive you back to campus.

I cant believe Chicago is under a Winter Storm Watch on April 27th. The deep south struggles to get a flake in the middle of January !

south bend is upper midwest; ok and neb and so ill and so ind are midwest ...
remember, so bend used to be in mich ... before they got the surveys correct ...

Looking at my FB memories, and of course the 4/27 posts popped up. I went outside and took this picture after the worst had passed over us and moved into Alabama. The clouds were still scary! That’s a type of day I don’t care to live through ever again. We had F-4s & F-5s all around us (Smithville, Philadelphia, and Tuscaloosa).

I left Alabama 5 years ago almost but its hard to believe 4/27 was 8 years ago...
