Misc 2019 Banter & Friendly Conservation

Good lord models are struggling this Winter. I know it’s just me, but it just feels like the only winter weather the models nailed at long or mid range was the storm in December. Otherwise, Idk if we are just continuously setting ourselves up for failure in here by getting hyped up over one awesome Euro or FV3 run or what, but this is becoming a bit annoying. May take a step back a bit, or at least try and tell myself I am.

So it looks like Euro finally sniffed out the frontal boundary. Legendary pattern. Cold, rain, more rain, repeat. How do the monthlies look?

We are more aware of what's going on and keeping a closer eye on things based on the feedback from you and some others. The mods and admins are always in conversation about the appropriate level of moderation and we are trying to do what's in the best interest of the entire forum as well as the members trying to learn and discuss the weather in a pleasant atmosphere.

We're doing the best we can.

Honestly, I think the biggest issue is that we haven't had much to take to the bank since the December storm. If we have another system that produces widespread snow for the SE, I expect that all of the models would perform better.

Only storm we benefit from is one with a CAD and most of the time it’s a miller B
