I’ve spent at least the better part of 2 hours watching a snow/blizzard stream this evening and tonight. Its been interesting but I might have problems.

looks like downtown Chicago near the lakefront is struggling to get much snow on the traffic cams while the suburbs and O'Hare are in a blizzard

I watched it as well and couldn't believe it went so long. LSU had that game won before it went to OT so tough loss for them.

Cliff diving talk already? Geez winter is over before it even started. ITS NOT EVEN 12/1 yet. The SE will see snow unless 90% of the winter outlooks are wrong and if the 10% is right I’m retiring this hobby.

Correct, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.
For many areas in the South the average first snowfall is not until early January so little to no snowfall in December wouldn't be unusual even for a year with well above normal snowfall. Look at 2014-15, no measurable snow for most of the south through mid-February and the last two weeks were action packed.
I can’t wait to go straight from cutters to clippers and cold NW flow! That’ll be fun!

This place is toxic today. I can't stand the constant lamenting when every model run is not showing bone chilling cold and historic blizzards for someone's backyard. Unrealistic expectations and senseless posts frustrate me. Especially when they are not put in the correct banter-venting thread...
However, I'll be back tomorrow morning to see how much gloom and doom y'all can get out of the overnight runs!

Lol it's so true. So much negativity and it's not even like we have a storm to track. We have all winter still and its not looking too bad headed in. We have yet to arrive to winter.
