Brick, in all seriousness...that will fry the camera on your phone the same way it would fry your retina.
 
The mods at American have always been horrible. One reason they have lost so many good posters. There a few left over there in various locations. We are lucky some have joined us . I'm just glad we have people here who actually explain things and try to HELP people learn and don't take the " I'm right your wrong attitude " which is one I've been guilty of in the past no doubt . Thankfully I've been humbled many times by many people and I've learned to listen more . I think ARCC and SD have smacked me around probably 1,000 times over the years which now I appreciate.

Welcome to the club, and it's fun to teach and fun to learn when folks wanna teach and folks wanna listen, and on both sides of the aisle, whether teacher or learner, everyone (mostly) sets aside the testosterone for the duration ...

Some days I wonder if they smacked hard enough..... Lol jk. Fairly impressive how busy this place is even during the doldrums of Summer so to Dustin's point this place will no doubt be jumping when we get some actual winter clown maps to look at! :D

Yeah I'm also surprised how active it is, it's nice to see an interest in tropical weather on this forum

Part of that has to do with your knowledge of damn kelvin waves and all the information you post about the tropics .I've never been 100 percent into tropical weather until this year.

I will be so glad when this ridiculously stubborn pattern comes to an end. At this rate, we may go the entire month of August with at least a chance of rain each day.

Unfortunately accuweather thinks this pattern is going to last forever. But, it is accuweather, FWIW
 
I've had enough of this summer and it isn't even about heat this time. It hasn't been horrendous heat wise. It seems like every other day, there's an ants problem I have to worry about. Today I stepped into the car to go for an appointment in the morning and we realized that there was ants all over the car.

I mean ants won't kill you but I don't want something crawling all over me. It makes me jump.

Freaking enough. Can we skip the rest of this month?
