I have a hard time buying the freezing rain solutions. Usually it seems like in these rain to snow situations that the surface is the last thing to cool off.

My first call for this event includes 2-4" for Raleigh with 1-2" in CLT. I think Greenville, NC is the sweet spot with 3-6" there.
I mean why not? 36hrs before the CLTFooter this past weekend locals said 2-5” or 3-6”.
We know what happened in and around Charlotte.

No reason to assume this one couldn’t do the same… right?

Final snowfall calls:

Charlotte - Nothing
Raleigh - Nothing
Greensboro - A trace
Roxboro - A dusting
Rocky Mount - A trace
Roanoke Rapids - A dusting

These cold chasing moisture events don't ever work out
