That dang dreaded NW shift at the 11th hour is always brutal for some and beneficial for some. Hickory to statesville to Mooresville benefited.Got shafted here, on to the next
No more lake effect!! LolEven notice ice forming on edges of shallow ponds down this way. Old Buckeye Lake in the pic above will be froze over by weeks end up there
Sucks for sure...on to the next hopefully. I'm trying to figure out which model performed the best. This was a tough scenario of not only getting the precip area correct (which was compact) but noting that there could be some embedded bands. Maybe if you took the center areas of the global model precip shield, then supplemented it with the ideas from the high-res models that there would be hard to predict localized bandingGot shafted here, on to the next. Should’ve trusted the RAP with its north shift
Well you moved West and I moved to the coast and somehow I got to see flakes before you this yearCongrats to all you snow people. Got a zero here. Looking forward to the snow-eating 100s next week.
3k nam and hrrr really honed in on the heavier banding for sure, just showed it too far south until about 4-5hrs before game time when they started shifting north to match the RAP.Sucks for sure...on to the next hopefully.
