@bouncycorn can you explain what this map means in detail for me i’m just trying to learn? and does this mean a good thing for the southeast
I have a growing grudge for certain things, and it’s certain globals showing ZR when soundings are clearly evidently supporting IP over ZR when precip maps show ZR. It fools a lot of people and has in past events, hence why it seems like ZR events rather becomes IP dominant

On the models in general, ZR seems to comically be overdone. Not sure what that issue is. But whenever I see the crazy ZR totals I know it's usually way overdone, it's sleet, or rain.

What made that AIFS run a powerful Miller A? Gulf Low? Amazing if that happened.
That's a duration of more than 12 hours in some areas. Hugging this one tightly.

Graphcast is just barely cold enough for all snow in my area. AIFS has warm layers that mean sleet, freezing rain and cold rain. I don't want this thing amped up.
18z AIFS in WxBlender (only 18z AIFS).. followed by updated full blend. I have sent the access link to those that DM'd me.

Expect the surface temps to be colder due to the snow pack up north. About 3 to 5 degrees colder

Well, these AI runs are the only amped runs, at all. There's nothing else other than them. Ensembles, GFS, Ukmet, CMC, Euro, nothing is amping and some barely have a storm.
My hope is that these AI models see the end results a touch better and the rest of the class slowly trends that way as they usually do. AI is the future!! lol. I need to see SOME amp to even think there's a storm possible.
