As of last night, no model had Augusta getting precip until around 11am. The sleet started here around 7am. Not sure how that will translate to other areas but there is definitely a band of precip down the I-20 corridor that is overperforming.

Interesting. I'm gonna presume that band will eventually move into the CAE area at some point.

Pretty good sleet shower over Augusta now, and I think earlier as it was enough to dust the rooftops.

I still think we've just missed on something bigger as in our case at least, the HRRR is handling fine on temps. We've backed up to 32 from the mid 20's overnight.

This isn't that surprising as short range did have sleet yesterday.
