Sleet/snow mix. And so it begins!
What are you thinking for our neck of the woods? I’m guessing 2.5-3” with a nice dose of sleet that will give this lots of staying power.Thinking same thing. Im at 20 with light frost on whatever there is and clouded up completely
Won't be long based on the radar and reports. I'm saying 15 minutes and we'll be seeing the first fat flakes fall.Disappointed to wake up to nothing so far, but it looks close!
Glimmer of hope, RGEM seemed a tick colder and shifted the snow axis a little south. I think we might see some good 12z model runs fwiw this late in the game20 pages overnight, wow haha. Looking through guidance it seems a lot of it switches Wake to rain by 06z Saturday now. A nod towards the NAM.
Yup. Starting to look as such.Other than the initial mixing for dynamic cooling, it’s almost entirely a snow or rain depiction on radar. Almost like it’s a slider or miller A vs sliding our LP up to grandfather mountain
What part of Atlanta are you in?As of 7am…
Good call. I agree with you. We should net .4-.49 qpf. I circled the 4 yesterday as my final call, But I noticed on the Graph last night, we end last hour or 2 with the orange barely getting over our heads. The other foreign guidance kept us all white, but by about 15 miles. Obviously we know that's most likely gonna wiggle north on us some and change us to sleet. It would never work in the opposite direction lol. What are you thinking for our neck of the woods? I’m guessing 2.5-3” with a nice dose of sleet that will give this lots of staying power.
Yep, keeps a lot of Wake in all snow throughout the event (except for Rain Cold's old place).Glimmer of hope, RGEM seemed a tick colder and shifted the snow axis a little south. I think we might see some good 12z model runs fwiw this late in the game
Yea they've been rock steady. Thanks for posting this by the way.06z Euro, fwiw
Also, a near perfect match to what the Euro AI has shown consistently for the last 7 days, lol.
