I’d say we give this one until 0z tomorrow. I’ll still keep a causal eye- I just cannot envision a low pressing that far south given how things normally shake out. Been wrong before and I’ll sure as poop be wrong again.
Yeah, I tend to agree. Now it may amp up and give us nothing but rain, but I don't quite believe it ends up a sheared mess.
It may very well be a swing and a miss. However, my gut tells me that we have not seen the final solution with this one. I agree ... let's give it another 24 hours or so to see if there are some positive trends.Gonna watch this a little while longer myself. Yeah theres always that inkling that it comes NW and more consolidatedYeah, I tend to agree. Now it may amp up and give us nothing but rain, but I don't quite believe it ends up a sheared mess.
Well it is the NAM but it has significant 5H changes even as our energy came onshore 48-60 hours out. Let’s see if globals follow this change.

Good catch there, keep us posted. Nam seems to be known to lead the way in 0z runs. Let's seeWell it is the NAM but it has significant 5H changes even as our energy came onshore 48-60 hours out. Let’s see if globals follow this change.

Notice the PV isn't pushing as far south either. Subtle changes can have big implications.Well it is the NAM but it has significant 5H changes even as our energy came onshore 48-60 hours out. Let’s see if globals follow this change.

Let's get this thing on US soil so it can be better sampled and then go from there.NAM with some interesting 5H changes. Instead of breaking our wave up and digging it too far west it’s much stronger and east some.
GFS might score a coupThe ICON seems as if it turns into a cutoff low off the California coast and there's very little energy that actually dives into the west. Maybe we shouldn't have laughed off that cutoff low off the California coast.
ICON doesn't even have the energy.
Hasn’t kicked yetICON doesn't even have the energy.
Yeah it does, it cut it off over the west coast and it's retrograding up the other side of the ridge. I guess it wanted to slide again.
