Wintry 1/20 - 1/23 Winter Storm

I don't know how much ice we have here at the beach, but it's quite a bit. I've only ventured out to the driveway since I fell on my shoulder, but the car is frozen solid and the leaves look like at least 0.25"
Probably 1"/hr rates at least. Neighbor's house across the street is milky.
Death band was insane 
21F the taper off has begun. 2-3” here.

Turning to sleet in the CHS metro area. That wasn't expected...
If you stay in Wake you will get used to it, just takes some time.

Currently light ZR, but we had a burst of sleet here which turned the smooth glaze on vehicles here into ice pimples. 850mb and 925mb temps attempting to crash ... So maybe a non zero chance of some snow mixing before the precip pulls out.

3-4 inches here still nice powder coming down .. easily winter storm criteria .. I’m so happy this is all going to stay a little while

Did the same at the NWS office too as well as here in Goose Creek. I just spoke with them filing my storm report. Non zero chance of some snow mixing in at times before it ends if the column cools quick enough
Temperature of 22.5, wind NNE 5 and heavy snow. With that, I'm going to bed. It's been a long day. Congrats to all who had winter weather today. Rest up. Probably going to need it for next week!

Light snow continues, but it’s definitely dropped off. Probably have another 45-60 minutes of light snow if radar can be believed. Looks like the light returns stretch back to around Burlington. Will probably step outside and try to take some measurements in a little bit. I’m guessing we got around 3”.
RDU airport reported 1.5" snowfall for yesterday which set a daily record. Probably will be a bit more added to the seasonal tally today.

Still snowing, probably won’t add much more but another quarter-half inch perhaps. Snowing at 21F with a 11F wind chill, plus very dry powdery snow. I mean come on, this is amazing. Congrats everyone
