Things coming together nicely for a big snow here back building heavy bands developing .. moisture increasing and converging together .. rates increasing instantly ..

Model watching is 90% of it. Of course the feeling of seeing snow blow around like dust is something only the Lord can give us.

But damn how fun was yesterday when the 12z suite was reeled in from the Atlantic and hammered NC?!

Just came in from walking my hound dog… solid dusting now and street starting to get covered. Flakes are still small but definitely seeing intensity pick up… 27 degrees

26/18 with -SN at KRDU as of 7pm. Not sure if we’ll wet bulb, but the wet bulb is 22, so pretty chilly out there!

24/20 as of 8pm with -SN. Maybe we will come close to wet bulbing. Don’t get a ton of snow in the low to mid 20s around here. This would even stick well during the daytime.
