Icing on tree branches commenced a bit ago officially confirmed by me on a store walk. Rain rate slowed for now.
I've had bigger flakes fall off a powdered doughnut but there's tons of them and it's efficient in accumulating

Moderate snow here. Everything but roads and wet spots covered.
Sheesh ground starting to whiten up here
264E in to Greenville has a light coating of sleet, certainly ice and not wet. Affirms my belief in folks around here don’t know how to drive in winter weather. Noticed the DOT signage just before the bypass had the winter hazard message. Saw 1 EMS response on the way back and just heard the Bell Arthur fire whistle go off. Bridges will be particularly bad in the morning.

Flurries in Oak Ridge!
I’m about a half inch right now but everything is blowing around like crazy off of all the roofs and off the ground .. truly feels like a snowstorm

Got a dusting now. It’s pretty light but there’s zero melting. Such a rarity here, but very cool.
