The storms in Texas could be ones to watch in the short term. This one for example is looking a little suspect.

One of the best hits we ever had here snow wise came several days after a bad severe storm day.....temps in the 70's a few tornados, nasty squall and straight line damage all over....
Then a real banger of a storm....

We'll see. That usually happens when Wake is in a watch or a level 3 or higher threat.
This storm to the west of Alexandria might try something soon.

To be fair that happens when cold fronts end up not lifting as far north as forecast or cold air damming is here . I agree 110% when that’s the case no action at all. Just crap low energy erectile dysfunction weather .
Tornado watch now out for parts of TX, LA, and MS until 2:00 AM.

Well I've gone and done it. In order for my son to see his xmas gift on xmas mornin and in light of our impending outbreak I put his gift together today. It's a 14ft trampoline which means it sure 100% bound to be destroyed by storms tomorrow. We have so far kept him from seeing.
I've got 4 bags of sand 25lb each on four of the bases and its tied off to the palm tree as an extra.
