That...does not look like anything I've reviewed. Not that the totals are going to be high but...still.
Dry air is killing me right now, it has just come out of nowhere. Hopefully it'll fade away and we can get some more moisture in here, if not then I may have gotten a 1/4 inch at best. Radar still looks good to the south and west, so I won't give up yet.

This arctic front is no joke. KATL (airport) went from 41 an hour ago to 35 now. This is after a high of 50 4 hrs. prior. Snow has started btw.

Could SC/NC be the big jackpot winners out of this when all said and done. If this thing goes as mesoscale models are showing those areas will be hit pretty hard.

00z HRR ramped up our totals in East Central Al...fwiw. Models don't mean much at this point.

Memphis talking about some river effect snow tonight. If the wind is just right I usually get a few flakes from that.

Got a solid legit dusting here right NW of ATL. Big flakes coming down! Will be approaching half a inch soon the way things are looking. Snow sticking well! Looks like saw dust though. For sure one of the more "powdery" snows I have seen in Ga. So far, it's over preforming here

Oh man, the 21z SREF plumes are out. 5.6" mean and .5" qpf for Greensboro! Boom!

SREF increased KATL snow total from .9 to 1.2 inches. Still a lot of members above the mean with 2 members nearly 3 inches however ofsetted by a couple being nearly 0 inches.

Over the past few years, NW Atlanta always has seemed to be the big winner in every storm to come through the state. However, the eastern areas of the metro always seemed to do better from about 2009-2012.

21z SREF plumes QPF mean keeps on increasing across central NC. Mean QPF at GSO is about 0.5" and w/ 12-15:1 ratios argues for 6-8" of snow. 0.38" in Raleigh which supports 4-6" & is generally in line with what most other models are showing.

Interesting ... the SREF mean for GVL jumped to 1.3" on the 21z run.

Returns drying up fast over the northern half of Bama...might be it for us. Dry air and CAA winning the fight. Hopefully you guys in the Carolinas can get the fetch more SW and cash in.
