Exactly. We literally went into another country and rescued a pilot that Iran was actively searching for, including offering a monetary reward for the capture if our serviceman. Yet our military/intelligence was able to go behind enemy lines and extract said serviceman.
Did we lose any troops as a result of this mission? Obviously something happened with the helicopters, but I’m not sure how them being destroyed (whether by us or them) is humiliating, when the objective or rescuing the soldier was achieved.
There are certainly criticisms to go around, particularly towards Trump and his handling of this war, but to say that our military has been humiliated by Iran is just false and any logical person knows it.
Humiliating was the withdrawal from Afghanistan, but to post this after the rescue of a pilot makes no sense.
