Pattern Fab Feb

Please tell me someone can verify some snow falling from that lonely little snow shower passing over Iredell County atm. When I opened AccuWeather and saw “snow likely forming within 53mins” I almost passed out, only to see that snow shower. But bring it on I say!

The models can't even agree on what will happen tomorrow, let alone next weekend. NAM has snow for NE NC tomorrow, and meanwhile the Euro has snow for NE NC next Friday, while the Euro AI has a bigger storm next Saturday for the Triangle west to the mountains. All over the place for the next week and just for tomorrow.

I’d say we’ve seen this movie a lot this winter so far

Major winter sports weekend this weekend. NAM shows 7” to 18” new snow in mountains tonight and tomorrow depending on location. Get outside and enjoy it. 4” to 10” a good bet
@ rburrel
Show us some pics and vids when its ripping fatties in those 50-60mph gust

If you forecast 3-6 inches and 60 mph wind gust. Why do you not issue Blizzard warnings? Does it have to be 35mph sustained with 1 inch accum to meet criteria?

This is what will happen in NW NC

Technically it's like 3 hours of 35 mph sustained winds

Its very hard to reach criteria. The coast didn't even really do it last weekend

I'm up in Wisconsin the next several days for the annual in-law trip. Snow started here about 30 minutes ago and almost 2 hours ahead of schedule. Impressive lift with this clipper. I'll try to add some pics in the morning.

Well, this clipper definitely overperformed here. Forecast was "less than an inch". Ended up with 2.5" or so overnight with peak rates around 1"/hour. Hopefully this clipper can deliver a few surprises further south.
