Suppose no chance this moves a bit east? Cause this borderline feels personal at this point in CNC
This band will progressively move east-southeast along with the mesolow and approaching cold front from the west

Should see this band some of the heavier snow off to the west move in along with the mesolow and cold front that’s forcing it progressively east

lol i wish. I just measured 4 to 5..maybe more in protected spots. That band has stayed over me...I'm mad though i lost quite a bit around mid day when it eased up and it was nearly 30 degrees. I might just get that 6 at this rate.

Just measured, Got between 6-7” with some 8-9” drifts around the yard. Still coming down at a good clip. About 7 miles NW PTI airport.

Just measured here in Huntersville, a little over 8" but I had some drifts so I was most likely 7.5 or so.

Rough measurements have been 7 to 8 inches. Made snow cream and it was great! Haven’t had that in a while. Snow been going hard all day! Man what more can you ask for? This one has been special!

We need the precip down in South Carolina to pivot northeast to the border of NC/SC. By the time it gets to us, it's moving directly south to north. Both east/west precip fields are doing the same thing, keeping us in the void.

Starting to come down really good now. Missed that extension this morning out of Atlanta by a couple of miles. The wind makes it hard to accumulate even when it’s snowing good

That's essentially what all the short range models are looking like. We currently have convective pulses coming out of the south moving roughly NNE that are all snow. Eventually they'll rotate around.
Closing in on 2" just west of the airport, 18.7/17.4, wind still light. SN, vis ~1/4 mile

That probably is attributing to why I'm like "yeah idk." I have areas that have good coverage and the cars are covered like it's snowed at least close to an inch, but I wasn't able to find an area that would measure impressively.
Road outside is just wet, but I imagine the Calhoun Expressway is closed.

No doubt about it. The wind is whipping up like the dickens as well. We should have several hours of this scenario playing out.

lee side trough/wind convergence is still hanging tough here. wind is pretty much dead calm...or less than 5... but just a few miles away in athens it's howling (14 gusting to 24)...as it's been all afternoon. whats weird is there was movement of it a few hours ago, which dropped my temp by 4 or 5 degrees in minutes..but after gusty nw/west winds for about 30 minutes it went calm again and even switched back to the ne.

Moderate snow with roads covered at the Buc-ee’s on 95 north of Florence. Half to three quarter inch on the ground. 95 itself its pretty slushy. Traffic moving slower than posted speed for the most part.

Nws radar seems to be filling the dry spot rather quickly coming up hoping it holds true
I think the absolute highest measurements will be somewhere in Davidson Rowan or Randolph county
