Some areas in cabarrus closing in on 6-7” already. Here I’m at 4.7”. Waiting on heavier banding but it’s a steady consistent snow

Late to the party, up here in a cabin in blue ridge and we’ve got it pretty good. Perhaps 2-3”? Peeked at ATL (and atlscoop on instagram) and honestly just from a glance, the western solutions of precip falling in the metro and points west look like they may verify, though snow amounts may obviously vary with where the bands set up. Super impressed. It’s 13° according to my car temp and the snow is so fine, with instances of blowing snow. Feels like we are spending a weekend in the true North. Lol.

Baffling. I’m probably less than 5 miles from you. Would call it light to maybe moderate at times recently. There’s also a chance I might just be a rate miser. Have been fortunate to spend a good amount of time in the Rockies/Wasatch.

Death, taxes, and the NW metro outperforming Charlotte proper. Looks like that’s happening again. Happy for everyone though!
