Myrtle already called Monday school off
I like how you nudged that 4-8 to my neighbor’s property but kept it off my property. Good looking map nonethelessAlright. This is likely too much info in one map, but I think it is a fun experiment in forecast comms. Not ready to outright forecast 8"+ near CLT and down to the Grand Strand, but I could see it. Considered a 2-3" contour nudging down into north central NC, but enough uncertainty there that a dashed zone callout was sufficient for my liking. The Euro is incredibly consistent on destroying AVL/GSP/CLT and areas in between, probably could have nudged that pink line a bit west. This may be conservative, but I have been too high on almost every forecast I've done so far.

He’s like widre, not what you want to hear but what you need to hear
I like Brad a lot...I don't even live in Charlotte but I like listening to his forecasts. He’s like widre, not what you want to hear but what you need to hear

Absolutely correct. Brad called for some big snows early in his career in CLT and missed. He found out that we're not in Ohio. Now he's very conservative and one of the very best.He used to be a weenie in his early years when I started following Models ect. 2008 ish …. He’d be the one with highest totals everytime. He’d get raked over and over, now the older he is…. He catches a lot of heat but he’s damn near always on the money or close

That's unfortunate. She was hilarious in Schitt's Creek.RIP Catherine O’Hara. Great actress and the mom in Home Alone !
Yeah I was really shocked when I heard she died. That's unfortunate. She was hilarious in Schitt's Creek.
I'll be happy if it verifies 15 miles further west.Imagine if that death band in GA verifies 50 miles to the west and ATL gets 8-10" lol
I can name many Atlanta TV Mets. Ken Cook, Glenn Burns, David Chandley, Chris Holcomb, Brad Nitz, Karen Minton.I couldn't name one Atlanta TV meteorologist.
I get my forecast for winter storms right here, and looking at model runs and trends.
Damn you making me hungry like that after I just ate Hungry Man Boneless Chicken Dinner just an hour ago.Pre-storm lord’s chicken two weeks in a row. Banter winter fellas. I forgot how this felt View attachment 191902
You're in a solid spot right now, should be a great event for you. I may end up being too far west. Could see anything from 0-5" here realistically.I'll be happy if it verifies 15 miles further west.
Given a few modeling outputs I think we are in a sweet spot for band formation especially off the mountain upsloping. You're in a solid spot right now, should be a great event for you. I may end up being too far west. Could see anything from 0-5" here realistically.

Bold to call off school 3 days in advance when a single snow flake hasn’t fell yet.
Hope so! Either way, has been nice to trend towards something as compared to where we were at a few days ago. 2" would be a success honestly. Anything more is gravy, I am not greedy like those Carolina folks lol.Given a few modeling outputs I think we are in a sweet spot for band formation especially off the mountain upsloping.
Yea it's a beautiful winter day here. No virga overhead yet..I’m in Raleigh atm, it’s beautiful sunny day. Wen snow?

This don't feel real
It's Glenn MFing Burns.I know who Glen Burns is. From that guy who's poster name was Lookout from yesteryear. Man he hated that guy. It was so comical. What ever happened to that Lookout guy? Think his name was Chris, may be mistaken.
