We’re turning against each other every time a storm comes and tbh we need to be more civilized about all this meaning no crushing peoples hopes or bragging about you getting something and the next not that’s all I ask…

I’m really not trying to turn on anyone. I’ve just been part of weather forums for a long time and nothing permeates more frequently into organized commentary than the triangle crowd constantly lamenting that they never get theirs. I’d have no beef if that was true, but they’ll be the first to burn the building down later this week because it only snowed 3 times last year and folks out west “have better climo.” And the crazy thing is, you won’t hear a peep from the Charlotte crowd who has a legitimate bone to pick. I don’t even live there and no one has been shafted harder this decade.

Again. I-95 corridor to the beach has done well. You literally got walloped with a once in 2/3 decades storm last year. NEXT!
My "snowstorms" last year were ~3.5", ~1.25", and ~1". What are you even talking about? What you said is true for Moyock but hardly true for most.

It was a fine winter and our best of the decade, probably, but hardly a great one.

Exactly my point in those totals. The foothills and upstate hasn’t seen 3” at any point since 22, which was the only storm since 2018.

Not true, at least not in the northern foothills. Regardless, you said we had a once in a two/three decade storm last year. We haven't had such a storm since 2002!

You’re partially correct. Mount Airy was a big winner last year but I can tell you first hand, the totals south of the yadkin river were 75% sleet driven, not snow. Sorry I started all of this! We’re all wishing for our backyards. Carry on.

and i answered, at first directly and then expounded in it. in response you came to the banter thread and said i had a childish obsession of snow and it was a form of mental illness. that ruffled feathers. happy to explain things but please be civil. i'm surprised what i thought was a sober comment on alabama went over like that. i have a subconscious bias towards richmond but otherwise i think i'm pretty fair and root for everyone to get significant events
No you offered no value until you got a response then you want to back track and offer an actual reasoning.. Gaslighting at its best lol and yes I do think it has to be a form of mental illness for grown men to resort to trolling over weather just because they are wishcasting so hard for their area.

Funny little joke for your day…

Right there with you. We have gotten maybe one inch of snow since 2018, but within 30 miles in all directions there have been 3"+ events within the last 13 months. I have officially labeled LaGrange, GA as the capitol of "Almost got winter weather."
That sucks. Maybe you should move to the new snow capital of the southeast....south ga. I mean they are likely to get accumulating snow yet again this weekend...especially southeast ga. It's actually quite incredible how they keep pulling it off vs their climo

All good! It's been a rough decade for a lot of us, at least aside from Moyock! :( It will turn around at some point, hopefully this weekend! Definitely in a "snow drought" like this, you gotta focus on rooting for your backyard, regardless of what that does to other folks. No room for charity!!

So from what I understand about this new system you want the energy to look like Kens Shoryuken uppercut to you west of your and your golden!!!! SCIENCE
