My buddies on the west ( North Mississippi/Alabama/Georgia) I would think this thing would have precip further north of that low pressure in the gulf. Looking good imo.
Me neither man. Late bloomers are a nail biter for us in CAE & normally don't work out to you all. Eastern NC normally kills it with these. WOuld really like to dig this N/S energy further back West.

I think a possible saving grace for areas further west is the northern stream energy digging down, could produce snow itself

Yep but you know this is only 5 days away before it pops....it's not like 10 days away. Feels newsworthy.
I was sort of looking forward to a break after spending so much energy on these past 2 systems but no complaints here..we can rest when it's spring.

Late bloomer is what you want to see in ATL at this stage. These things almost always trend to bloom earlier & further west. ATL is in a good spot IMO.

Some good news: this thing is not looking nearly as synoptically complex as the last (current) system.
It will be complex, like all southern snowfall events, but this last one was a significant challenge for models. This upcoming one should be a bit easier for the models to handle.
