I've been watching the EPS for weeks now it's the same story every week.. it'll sort of light up around day 9-10 and then poof it falls apart and it has yet to come back

I mean all this hype and I have maybe two days below normal out of the next 15 in a stretch that has very likely been the warmest on record since mid December. We've shattered so many warm records I stopped keeping track. That's how ridiculous it's been
Oh and it hasn't snowed past February 20th since 2022

It's right about 1 thing. No snowstorm for northwest SC. This area may never have a 2+ inch event again.

A snow event on MLK Weekend would be perfect. That would give a lot of people the opportunity to chase some snow.
I was waiting on this lol. Never fails.
I hate to say this because I'm not trying to insult anyone but this logic doesn't make sense unless the initial system dramatically changes upstream pattern and this one doesn't do that

On this day 15 years ago was one of my All-Time favorite winter events. And the snow didn’t completely melt for a week !
Back up plan is definitely a mountain trip next weekend. But I don’t give a crap about seeing snow on the ground, I wanna be in a snowstorm up there so hoping the Euro throws a bone with the second system.
BAM!!!
I don’t care about trips at all. If I can’t look out the backdoor and see snow on the ground it’s a fail. And it’s looking that way unfortunately.

Yes and that can be a problem. If anyone is thinking about heading above 5k feet to hit the slopes, don’t. Not worth it. Me and my brother went a few years ago during MLK weekend. One of the coldest weekends I can remember up there. Got a foot on top of Beech but the snow goobers were just everywhere. Fun but just a bit crowded. Not a lot of bang for your buck if you want to head to the high country on MLK weekend
I hate a day trip especially if it’s over 2 hours lol. If I’m gonna drive I better be there some days.
