Back to sleet with some snowflakes mixed in now in Kenly, precip types/rates are something with this one…no freezing rain at all yet…pavement starting to whiten up a bit.

Coming down great rn. Awesome stuff
Got a dusting on some surfaces now, especially in more shaded areas. The sun is doing work especially on south facing areas. Grass still mostly seems wet. Honestly, did not expect to have any sort of stickage by noon. The snow is also dropping BL temps. I see RDU is down to 29 as of noon, which will help accumulations going forward. Hopefully, we can drop more towards the mid-20s.

Agreed! It’s been a while since I’ve seen some daytime snow. I was looking forward to it.
I’m liking the banding on the radar to our south. I do still believe there will be mixing but hoping it’s to a minimum.
