Get Ready cause The Outlaws,The Rebels,The Hillbillies and even some Yanks are coming to DC Jan 2025. Buckle Up snowflakes! Or your gonna melt!
Read this threadWith Gaetz gone and the left going after Bondi already it is becoming clear they are not giving up. I did not like Gaetz, but Bondi is another story. I really hope she makes it.
Now why would anyone say that! After seeing the left going after Bondi just minutes after Trump picks her for AG I am slowly coming around to this way of thinking. I agree with the bolded part of this post 100% and always have. This stuff needs to go.
There are plenty of people on the internet that say Biden plans to get WW3 going so he can declare a national emergency and stay in power past Jan 20. I say this is VERY unlikely, but the left is not going to go away.
The far left will not be satisfied with anyone Trump picks, short of him keeping Biden people on. Thankfully no one on here is that far left.It wasn't a mandate he won by a quarter million votes over 3 or 4 states....it doesn't matter though the Senate is there as a stop gap to prevent and protect Americans from someone like Trump who is putting unqualified and lacking people up for leadership roles.
I'll admit I don't know much about many of Trump's cabinet appointees so I will not express an opinion on the ones I am not familiar with. I love the choice of Robert Kennedy to be the Health and Human Services Department. I do not like Linda McMahon to head up the Education Department. Her husband Vince is a sleazy character who should be in prison and I do not know what qualifies her to run this department besides a failed run for Senate.
I am somewhat liberal when it comes to the economic stuff, but on abortion and the social and cultural issues I lean more to the right. The Pentagon and a few other places in DC do need to be cleaned up.It was a mandate, you know it and all your liberal buddies know it. I just wish for the love of all that's right that you would once in your life admit your liberalism. C'mon man, own it!
The timing only leaves one to think....
Always a conspiracy!!The timing only leaves one to think....
You got the escalation you wanted buddy! One inch closer to giving you what you want which is more dead people you don't have to bury. You asked the other day how much land would I be willing to concede to Mexico so I'm going to ask you a question. If it came down to it would you grab your long barrel and go fight beside me like Ukraine is having to do? The smart $$$ says you would be in here cheerleading while your countrymen die. In all fairness you share the attitude of most people growing up in a video game world where you can respawn when your head gets blown offAlways a conspiracy!!
Do you hear yourself?None of it matters all wars are gonna end abruptly once trump takes office right?
Abruptly I doubt it but if he ends them are you going to credit him? We have a chance with Trump. That chance was a big fat nothing burger under the unifiers you voted for so remember thatNone of it matters all wars are gonna end abruptly once trump takes office right?
His argument is that it’s okay to engage in global war now because Biden will be out and a Trump will be in soon.Abruptly I doubt it but if he ends them are you going to credit him? Trump has a mess on his hands but if anybody can pull us out it's him. It has to be him for the next 4 years so we need to support the effort to put it to an end because we can't keep moving the needle towards destruction. I don't fear us being hit by them but world wars start because of someone being backed into a corner and we are there.......I hope in the back of their minds they are supporting himHis argument is that it’s okay to engage in global war now because Biden will be out and a Trump will be in soon.
Sorry excuse to engage in warfare.
I agree he is capable of getting us out, however that is no excuse for what Biden and the liberals on here are doing right now which is further escalation.Trump has a mess on his hands but if anybody can pull us out it's him. They like Rubio. He is one of them. Part of the uni party. He was an original member of the congressional gang of 8 created when Obeyme and Holdem weaponised the Patriot Act against the American people. I don’t trust Rubio. At the rate they are going, they are going to "find" something on everyone except Rubio.
No offense but many of those people at home in their pajamas aren't productive. It doesn't take a dozen people to screw in a lightbulb, it should only take 2 even for the federal government. For what it's worth as a Vet I hope he streamlines the military as well because it needs itNot sure Trump would have won with how Elon is acting now. Elon on twitter daily taunting the middle class federal works that he is going to make them all go back to the office 5 days hoping they will quit and ever after that he is going to fire them. Not sure we need the richest man on the acting like a tyrant. I have never been an Elon fan and this is exactly why.
If he wants to save money then start selling off these empty federal building and reduce head count that isn't productive.
I don’t trust Elon but here he is only echoing what corporate America is doing. Corporate America wants workers back in the office. Corporate America is forcing workers back into brick and mortar locations. Remote work is going away. Not sure Trump would have won with how Elon is acting now. If we are being honest, there are some jobs that are perfectly ok run from home if expectations are met by the employer. You can tell Elon comes from an engineering background and I agree with him on this when it comes to people in positions of solving problems or people in teamwork positions. Our biggest concern is that government has become a hiding place for millions of people and many of those positions aren't productive because the system is not efficiently run. Being 35 trillion in debt we have to cut the fat and unfortunately that means unemployment for a lot of people. We need them doing work that helps us as a societyI don’t trust Elon but here he is only echoing what corporate America is doing. Corporate America wants workers back in the office. "Corporate America"...you mean the wealthy like Elon. Yeah they want the worker bees in the office because they are in-secure. Great leaders of the best companies in the world allow and encourage a hybrid work schedule. I particually don't care...I was one of the few that went to the office in 2021 2-3 days a week to get out of the house but hiring engineers in IT is very difficult still and it will only get more difficult for companies that mandate 5 days in the office. It will be near impossible.I don’t trust Elon but here he is only echoing what corporate America is doing. Corporate America wants workers back in the office. Corporate America is forcing workers back into brick and mortar locations. Remote work is going away.
Do you work for the federal government because that is what I was referring to? If you do you know exactly what I am talking aboutWhat are you basing this on...."many of those people aren't productive"? Productivity is up with a hybrid work force. I've been hybrid for 15 years...if anything I work more hours due to that. I don't waste 90 mins a day in a car, I get to eat lunch from home and I'm healthier. The innovative companies all have hybrid work forces, the best companies on the planet.
If companies have people working remote that aren't productive then bringing them back in the office won't make them productive. You shouldn't have to babysit people. Those people should be fired. Their managers should be holding them accountable for deliverables whether they are in the office or at home. I go in the office 3 days a week...I waste 90 mins a day in the car and I go sit in my cube and do the same work I would do at home.
Elon's problem is majority of Tesla needs to be in the office as they build cars so he probably fights this a lot and it pisses him off. He probably loses engineers to other companies that offer hybrid. That's why he hates work from home...it's not because he wants to save our country money, it's to benefit him. He doesn't give a shxt about anyone but himself. If we are being honest, there are some jobs that are perfectly ok run from home if expectations are met by the employer. How dare you! How dare you insults @Thor daddy! He is the messiah, he is so smart, he is so rich, his intelligence is above all of ours combined … he deserves to lead us all because he is so rich therefore so smartElon's problem is majority of Tesla needs to be in the office as they build cars so he probably fights this a lot and it pisses him off. So why did you vote for Trump and Elon? They do not speak for youI don’t trust Elon but here he is only echoing what corporate America is doing. Corporate America wants workers back in the office. Corporate America is forcing workers back into brick and mortar locations. Remote work is going away.
Sure. I guess we will seeElon's problem is majority of Tesla needs to be in the office as they build cars so he probably fights this a lot and it pisses him off. Yeah and now he is given close control and influence over our labor laws!Elon's problem is majority of Tesla needs to be in the office as they build cars so he probably fights this a lot and it pisses him off. Never forget, the wealthiest Americans pay less taxes than you do but have all the power and all the wealth. Now Trump and his cabinet of very wealthy people are in power, what makes you think they will make it more equitable? It would mean they pay more, they won’t do that…

This is old but it’s only gotten worse since then
AWESOME!!!!!!!!Yeah and now he is given close control and influence over our labor laws!
My wife is mostly in person assessments but some days like today she has one in person and the rest are being done over the phone at home. This saves her time because she's not doing any work when she's driving from Jacksonville back to Wilmington or from Tabor city near the SC border. She will get the work done faster and then do referrals later in the day which she doesn't usually do because she spends so much time driving. If anything it's more efficient. What are you basing this on...."many of those people aren't productive"? Productivity is up with a hybrid work force. I think we got off point here...the orginal point was Elon doesn't need to be tweeting out multiple times a day taunting millions of federal workers that he is forcing them back to the office 5 days a week in hopes they quit. That's terrible leadership, bully behavior. And he isn't doing it to help America, he is doing this to help himself and his companies.Do you work for the federal government because that is what I was referring to? If you do you know exactly what I am talking about
I agree but with the government you can't fire people apparently. What are you basing this on...."many of those people aren't productive"? Productivity is up with a hybrid work force. Yeah, a hybrid work schedule is by far more productive than 5 days in the office and really 5 days at home. I do see value of 2-3 days in the office, giving workers a couple of days at home, if there job allows, has many benefits. My wife is mostly in person assessments but some days like today she has one in person and the rest are being done over the phone at home. Now that is true...they can't just fire Federal employees...it's very difficult process. It's why they have so many contractors.I agree but with the government you can't fire people apparently.
I say do both. But yeah there's a lot of buildings to be sold. I'm not convinced that unions for civil service workers is a good thing. Now that is true...they can't just fire Federal employees...it's very difficult process. It's why they have so many contractors.
Personally I would like to see them sell off a bunch of these empty federal buildings...that would make a lot more sense.
And I am all for mandating Federal workers in the office 2-3 days a week. But they won't quit.I say do both. But yeah there's a lot of buildings to be sold. I'm not convinced that unions for civil service workers is a good thing.
