Rain here 6 out of the last 7 days. Really need it to dry out so I can mow the lawn.

Whoah, just had a lightning strike right outside my house.
Hasn't rained significantly in months..didn't get a storm all day with mainly full sun

Future radar showing a pretty good line of storms coming through the Triangle tonight between 8 and 9.
Sun is out but it's thundering again. Might be getting a third storm incoming.
Guess it was just thunder still from the storm that already went through.

Drought busting rains here. It's raining so lightly, that it's actually still hot out.
Even Death Valley is scoring some rain. And I love those lows in the 90s:

Feels a tad chilly right now, a rain-cooled 73°F after a strong T-storm passed south of me early this evening. Almost all of that one's rain missed me, although today's precip total from showers earlier this afternoon is 0.45". Thunderstorms really are Mother Nature's air conditioners, innit?

Hope the storms miss me today. I really need to mow the lawn this evening. My yard is like a jungle, sometimes it makes me wonder how I keep from going under.

I think my least favorite part of July is the low at my house northeast of Columbia went under 70 just one time and was 75 or over about half the month. Those muggy mornings just bite.
Yeah even during the daytime, there didn’t seem to be much mixing of the dewpoints and the would stay in the 73-78 degree range at my house during peak heating
Saw this on Twitter .. love when people cancel hurricane season in July before it even is suppose to ramp up lmao
