The Russian have been there a couple of weeks so they could have easily have had some cold weather. I checked Ukraine's capital weather and Thursday they have a forecast of a low of 34 and chance of rain/snow. So the Russians could have gotten frostbite in the weeks they were there.

I am not a Russia apologist and hope they lose badly in Ukraine. However, I would be careful to dismiss their military power.
As you mentioned, it appears the Russian soldiers have no will and morale is low. I believe this has a huge impact on their performance whether it be combat, logistics, maintenance, etc. The fact is that there are enough soldiers that do not believe in this cause and that is severely impacting Putin's plans.
If this conflict was one in which the Russian soldiers felt the fight was just and there was a cause they truly believed in, I suspect we would be seeing the true full potential of the Russian military. Are there other blunders in this conflict not related to morale? I'm sure there are, but if your soldiers' hearts aren't in it, it is crazy to expect them to fight to their fullest extent. This was Putin's biggest miscalculation IMO.

Yet another differing perspective on Zelensky. He certainly is no pro-democracy guy. Banning all opposition so he can be just as dictatorial as Putin. Shutting down all media that criticises him. Stashing money in offshore accounts.

Opposition Platform for Life is now prohibited from quote "all activity within Ukraine." So with a single command, Zelenskyy made it impossible for anybody to run against him for President.
He did this not just to Opposition Platform for Life, but to 10 other political parties that he believed are insufficiently loyal to him. They're all illegal now. Obviously, there's a war underway in Ukraine and on that basis, Zelenskyy has declared martial law.
We must tell you, there is no evidence that the opposition parties he banned were aiding Russia in its war against Ukraine. Opposition Platform for Life, for example, denounced the Russian invasion the moment it happened, just like everybody else. But Zelenskyy took the opportunity to turn Ukraine into effectively a one-party state, which it now is.
So having banned all opposition, he then seized control of the country's media outlets. Zelenskyy signed a decree that combines all national television channels into a single platform that he controls. He described this as a quote, "unified information policy," and it certainly is unified."
This was before the war by the way:

Jeff might have missed Biden negotiating with Iran so they can get nukes. I seem to recall something about "Death to America". They also hate our country and our values and quite frankly they were responsible for thousands of american soldiers dead in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Just pointing out there are alot of people who hate our values, but we try to accomodate them even when they wish us dead.
By the way, i mentioned yesterday 377,000 dead in Yemen and sadly no one is wearing Yemen pins. 500,000 dead in Ethiopia and no one seems overly bothered about that.

Easy answer. We have MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX annointing Zelensky. As we seem to be headlong into a wider war based largely on false propaganda i think someone should provide a bit of balance. We have plenty of people parroting the approved viewpoint of the elite. I feel im providing a bit of balance even if its 1000 to 1.

Russia is opening its stock market back up tommorow. Should be sale off city. It will be interesting to see if these sanctions have had any affect as a deterent.
China, Iran have been back-dooring Russia monetarly/trade wise providing an outlet.
In addition our own current Administration is set to pay millions to Russia, so they can arbitrate the horrendous Iran deal.
