Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

That Wake County split has been strong for many years now. I've said this numerous times, it's been a long time since we've had a coastal plain special. I feel bad for my fellow south Wake County friends. Kind of funny, I still have some left over snow/sleet but just 10 miles to my SE (Wake Forest) nothing. That has happened a whole lot (especially down towards Raleigh) these past 10 years. Raleigh eastward is due!
Im due for $56,023,937 as well

No it's probably right, but not for the reason you think. That model has bounced all over the place all winter long. The reason it's probably right is because the amped solution is almost always correct. The Euro just got lucky and got to it first this time. GFS got it last time. ICON probably get it next time.
I think it’s the only one handling the Atlantic ridge correctly. Through it might not being handling the phasing correctly. But, yeah, amped is winning this winter.

Verbatim the EPS is sick winter storm for us but it’s got 3-4 days to keep ticking west

I like how Shane liked this post but she said “ Raleigh eastward is due “ and he is technically west of Raleigh . ?

How does Atlanta look with this storm? I tried to follow but it was too much noise in the storm thread.

I'm just going to laugh if we end up with zilch from this so called "great pattern". We're already 0 for 2 and looks like 0 for 3 after this weekend.
It is a great pattern. Upstate sc broke records , we have more threats than we can count , Atlanta saw frozen , parts of northern Alabama have had 2 big snow events so far this winter , on and on. Carrollton sucks perhaps or Indianapolis . Perhaps your in Indy , I heard they are having an insanely dry snowless winter .

Atlanta saw zilch. Just a few flakes.

I'm poor so I was gonna take a car alternator and a 800cc mower engine and rig up a generator. Now I don't have to. But I might do it anyway just to see what happens

I'm calling the city

Yeah I was gonna say he is in city limits , you can’t do that ! Only in lizard lick ! There would be lockdowns in some of the Raleigh schools because some hunter was nearby and mistook for a shooter . Ooof

Just wanting to get everyone accustomed to what this is so when it shows up in the next day or so, you won't be surprised:

I’m not buying it folks for the i77 corridor Charlotte Elkin Mount Airy. Maybe down east but 30% chance
