Upper 70’s will do that to youThe warmer start to jan really put a damper on the chances of a BN jan, looking at the next 10-15 days, it looks slightly BN-BN, we have a small shot imo at slightly BN for the month overall View attachment 102835

Same, I have a feeling around jan 29th-feb 6th we’ll go back to a -PNA/SER combo, although I’m sure that lead to a cold March lol, but anyways we have 20 days or so to take advantage of what we have View attachment 102834
I’m already planning my next beach trips . Perhaps some fishing . Hey, I’m a warm lover and enjoy warm activities what can I say . I found out Coquina Beach is only 2 hours 50 mins from here . Always felt outer banks were further than that. Haven’t been to Nags Head in years .If we don't start the good pattern till around the 17th 18th, that only gives us about 12 days right? Sigh. Hope it delays into February a bit before we go back to that loathed look.

You can clearly see the areas in NC that hit 80 or close to it the first 2 days of the month in the deep red . You can also see the snow affect on Virginia in keeping anomalies down .The warmer start to jan really put a damper on the chances of a BN jan, looking at the next 10-15 days, it looks slightly BN-BN, we have a small shot imo at slightly BN for the month overall View attachment 102835
Legitimate question, how much snow does everyone EXPECT each year. Let's be realistic here and not say something absurd if you expect absurd I'm sorry
Tomer Burg just ran the 12z GFS in 3k resolution. ?

Now we're talkin'! That's much better than 3 inches of sleet! ? I bet even my neighbors @SD and @Rain Cold approve of this one.
It's stunningly beautiful. A true masterpiece.Tomer Burg just ran the 12z GFS in 3k resolution. ?

1-3 is my usual expectation. Big dogs are rare here in the east and we are overdue for one. Seems like about every ten years we get a big one with some 3-6 inches scattered about.Legitimate question, how much snow does everyone EXPECT each year. That might be in the works. ? Or it could be just a flat out ban. ?I think we need a troll tag. ?
For the record @SD @Justanotherweatherfan this comment was not meant to receive any smiley emojis but sad ones geez. Salt in an open wound! That will happen cause it gives me the rain that SD and rain cold would be smelling while they get dumped on.
I've always been surprised there's not more VA people on here. It’s honestly odd how many NC people are on here

I think it's just a matter of time for you there in Tulsa, you're in a good spot.As for snow I expect... Well I would say like half of climo which up here is about 8 inches(yeah I was surprised it was that much too) lol this is the best climo I've ever had so I expect at least one good one close to that 3-5 inches maybe or a couple smaller events
Dallas most years never had one even inch they average(before last year of course)
Its definitely different for me this year because I've never lived in a place where every year has had snow basically
Did y’all see what happened at Beech Mountain yesterday ?

You say you want some snow huh..Idk why, but I can't stop laughing. What in the odds...
More so just statistics, the most populated states in the SE are GA, NC, and FL. Much more people live in those states then say… Dubuque, Iowa maybe? ??It’s honestly odd how many NC people are on here
It doesn't happen much, even in good years. I'm thinking in my whole life I've only been in snow with it 21° only one time.So sick of these stupid marginal setups . Give me 20 and snow gosh darn it
