Gusting to 23 at pgv. I've been rainless now for atleast 7 days. Longest stretch since June 1st so today should end the little mini dry spell.
Looks like the cams all have the same theme, the band this morning, a few scattered showers, potential band this evening

Color me shocked.
Haven’t seen any official numbers but I think we probably gusted near 25mph. Feels nice but man it is thick out there today
RDU max gust is 28 so far. We will rebuild

Just 11mph away from tropical storm force gusts.
I’ll be honest wind has really picked up here noticeably in the last hour or so … start hearing it whipping out the window that’s when you know.

I just noticed we're in a level 1 risk now instead of a level 2 that they had earlier.
.14 total gust to 24. That one cell did look a little sus passed just to my east

My guess is it'll be either outflow dominant as it approaches or it'll be moving into decreasing instability so it won't be what it is now

I'm not sure even I can screw this one up.
Certainly looks like a much meaner line than was modeled by HiRes models … interesting but I think Shane’s right in it probably poops itself out before it gets here .. but watching and waiting is always fun .. maybe something interesting happens here

What level threat were they under today?
Can't even get a storm here but the Mid Atlantic and Northeast have tornadoes today.
