Tropical Ida Inland impacts

You get the feeling that every little storm that pops tomorrow is going to try to rotate to some degree
Yeah it looks like it. Still not sure how this all evolves. We could get anything from a bunch of small showers and storms competing for space to a few higher end discrete storms to a decently well organized band to morning clouds and remnant showers and almost nothing. This seemed clearer yesterday morning

Looks like the NAM that @Myfrotho704_ alluded to may actually come to fruition later on this evening. Those storms in Central GA are moving pretty quickly in this direction. Kinda surprised to see the slight risk where it is given all the rain and clouds.

Authorities in Louisiana are investigating an apparent fatal alligator attack on a 71-year-old man as he walked in floodwaters following Hurricane Ida.

The man was attacked and apparently killed by the alligator Monday outside his home in Slidell, his wife told the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office. Slidell is about 32 miles northeast of New Orleans.

The woman was in the couple's house in Avery Estates when she heard a commotion and saw a large alligator attacking her husband, she told authorities.
