Itll be interesting to watch the piedmont trough today and tomorrow and see if areas to the west are able to mix more effectively and heat up at the sfc a little more. I don't think it's crazy to think that CLT and GSO end up hotter than RDU over the next couple days by a couple of degrees. But along and east of the piedmont trough dews are likely to stay closer to 70 so even a couple degrees cooler on temps may be off set. We will see though

And that results in hotter 2m tempshrrr_T2m_seus_39.png

This is probably overdone since the hrrr is a mixing machine in its later hours

Hrrr has also been consistent recently with trying to pop thunderstorms around Raleigh later … we will see though I’m skeptical of everything at this point

Y'all are close to hitting a hundo. Knowing my location I'll probably hit 99 and never go over 100. Always the case here. But it'll end up being instasweat as soon as I step out the door due to humidity lol.

NAM 12z definitely more expansive with coverage in central to eastern NC .. looks like we will have some weird stationary storms but also some storms coming from the northeast moving south and even south west ish … will be interesting to see on radar

My dew is 81 now
You baiting me aren’t you? You want me to call that erroneous , too high! Well, maybe it’s not , more vegetative cover in a neighborhood than an airport station , therefore more evapotranspiration and higher dews . Airport stations record lower dews normally than what most people in a suburban setting will experience .

No if I thought it was wrong I would be baiting you. Both stations are bouncing between 80 and 81 I guess the rain the other night is helping too since rdu didn't get any they don't have as much to evaporate.

I would also guess that there is at least a weak trough running basically down US1 right now with higher dews east and lower west

I’m jealous , maybe I need my own weather station as dew is also higher here most likely than at RDU. My birthday is Friday want to get me one !?!
