When the NAMs are your only hopes! ?973622F9-1436-4068-A2E4-6F9E5E7F103C.png6CE02DEA-54E9-4A98-B2B8-CDA9D5BBADA6.png007B330B-ED4D-4F56-8E25-8FF8456442F7.png

Sooooo we may have an upper level system break off over the north central Atlantic today that retrogrades all the way to the Carolina coast in 5-7 days. Interesting it might be worth keeping an eye on just in case it tries to drill down to the sfc

Oh and one last thing enjoy the low dews this week. Starting Friday the flow turns SE and ESE we are about to get a period of 70+ dews and pwats around 2 inches.
At least the death ridge is still being blocked for now … we will get the warm and humid air but hopefully that will accompany your garden variety thunderstorms as well

Days getting shorter now. Im one who complains, despises summer wx. But I have 0 complaints so far this met spring, now summer. 9 weeks left as the crow flys and then we will be in the meat of cane season. Not to mention HS,College Football will be well underway. Good Rains over the weekend and again this morning. Icing on the cake.

Gfs is teetering on being really hot mid next week. Setup is a lot like the ones where we stay hot in September with the closed ridge off of the NE coast. If the ridge noses in much more and chokes out clouds/showers we could easily string together a bunch of 90-95 days. It's certainly a setup that will favor heat for the RIC to BOS corridor

Well I hope we stay on this side of the teetering

Looks like the last downpour of the day has come through here for a total of 0.2 for the day and monthly of 4.05. Grass looks the same at 4 inches as it would if I had double that so I'm happy. But from a rainfall competition standpoint with other posters I still suck! ???
