Seems like the hammer was barely south of me... Dime store rain gauge says roughly, .25 inch. I'll take it though.

I'll take a hard pass on the 06z gfs and all its rain over eastern NC. We have had plenty and that only sets us up for possible problems later if we do get another hit.

Let’s just say that my departure from the southeast is the reason why the rainfall is finally coming for most everyone now. Someone had to take one for the team.

We can scratch any real threat today. Too much cloud cover and pops cut by more than half. Par for the course most of this summer. Very little outside of the mountains at all today in SC and NC. Always lots of hype from the NWS only to have to back down. Every time.
