Interesting, appears to be organizing into a line and sweeping all the precip to the east! That’s good news maybe the moderate risk will bust bigly tonight

Yeah not very stormy feeling but I do have an old outflow stalled out and firing some storms to my west a few miles. Maybe it will explode and train over us for a bit.
Radar looks absolutely awful upstream from this area for miles and miles. Sky is not stormy right now either. Mostly clear and high cirrus.

Yeah if it wasnt for this outflow that stalled and moved back east as it flared up I'd be on the outside of any decent rain but as it stands I'm getting dumped on. At the rate its raining id expect to see a 1 inch pixel pop up on doppler estimates soon for mby.

Guess I wasn’t totally wrong lol. No moderate risk is gonna happen tonight here radar is done lmao.

Flash flooding here in zebulon . Completely different world from where I was in Raleigh earlier . Roads probably most flooded I have ever seen , well since Matthew . May have to pay the little river a visit . It’s overflowing and with today’s rain maybe could wipe the bridge on 97 out again! Would be the third time in 4 years .

Harrowing drive into work. Flooded roads and very intense rain. A body shop just down from work had water up about 6 inches around the cars and building. Highway 11 near pitt greenville airport was also flooded.
