May be?

Somehow this tiny little storm has prompted a flash flood warning for the Birmingham metro area. Almost 2 inches of rain has been reported at the airport in the past 50 minutes.4E6D8009-3F40-4929-9BD1-E3CD5B2510CC.png

Unfortunately looking over some photos, I didn’t have my focus setup right (such a rookie mistake) ?, managed to get a few, but overall I’m disappointed because due to bad focus I lost like 8 lightning photos, but the bolts were sorta far anyways C3C65F3A-3F1D-4C85-B88A-371DBC107A10.jpegF7F2B518-5DBC-4BF3-B61C-EFCA01989034.jpeg25D7733C-572C-453A-9290-BF3D56C5813D.jpeg6C49FC18-98F8-4619-AB98-F64A9924E586.jpeg

This was in the AFD this morning I had to read it like three times lol

as a result, a wet pattern is projected to
dominate through the summer solstice.

Western foothills look like the main focus for storms could make into piedmont Charlotte to Winston. NAM also slams the area with Gulf Storm right into north Georgia.

Backdoor cold front sliding in north of Raleigh. Someone post the via satellite

50s pushing into south/eastern Virginia while Raleigh is 85 already

87 here already. Glad I'm about to leave soon for a couple days but we have definitely flipped the switch. Summer has arrived.

Edit: Although when we're back we'll cool off for a few days.

Your kidding me. At this rate places like kitty hawk will never have warm beach temps and as a result we will keep getting this laggy crappy NE wind thunderstorm less drizzle garbage.
Looking more like we get another slug of rain this week from the kind of tropical system
